These are hydrophilic Super Mag (100 nm) with Amine groups. These surface groups allow covalent amide bond formation to proteins/peptides via primary amine or thiol groups.
The beads exhibit rapid binding chemistry and low non-specific binding of nucleic acids. Amine or thiol modified oligonucleotides, antibodies or other ligands can easily be coupled to the beads. Activation through BS3 or SMCC is required. The 100 nm Super Mag Amine Beads have a large surface area, high capacity, efficient magnetic pull and excellent colloidal stability during incubation.
